Research on the Effect of Royal Jelly on Lowering the Blood
Lipids

The purpose of this paper is to explore the function of
royal jelly in lowering blood lipids. In this project, an animal model of
hyperlipidemia in rats was build up. We employ the TC, TG and HDL-C levels in
serum, atherosclerosis index (AI), as well as body weight, liver weight, spleen
weight and body weight ratio as the evaluation indices to measure the
lipid-lowering effect of royal jelly. The results show that, three doses of
royal jelly can significantly decrease the TC and TG levels, increase the HDL-C
level in the serum of hyperlipidemia rats and inhibit the increase of AI. The
increases of weight, liver weight, spleen weight and body weight ratio have
also been mitigated. Among the three doses, 1 g/kg performances the best. The
research provides theoretical support for the future development of royal jelly
of lipid-lowering functional foods.

蜂王浆降血脂功能的研究

目的,研究蜂王浆在降血脂方面的功能。方法,建立大鼠高血脂症动物模型,以大鼠血清TC、TG 和 HDL-C
水平,动脉粥样硬化指数(AI)以及体重,肝重、脾重与体重比作为评价指标,评价蜂王浆的降血 脂效果。结果表明,三个剂量的蜂王浆均能显著降低高血脂症大鼠血清TC、TG 水平,提高血清HDL-C
水
平,抑制AI
值得上升,减少体重,肝重、脾重与体重比的增加,其中中剂量组(1g/kg)为降血脂的最佳剂 量。结论对于今后蜂王浆降血脂类功能食品的开发提供了理论依据。
